Goodbye Week 12

And with that Week 12 is behind us. This week we saw some good football. Before we get to that let’s look at the scores. If my math is correct I show Rick at 113-63 and me at 113-63. We have had to use the tie breaker 5 times in total with Rick at 3 and me at 2. This does not include any preseason games. All in all I would say we are doing pretty well. We rank right up there with the pros making the calls.

All right now let’s look at the games, Minnesota had a beautiful game on Sunday. They dominated the Bears, with Favre getting 392 yards, Adrian Peterson getting 85 yards rushing and Percy Harvin 101 yards receiving. This leads us to the Cardinals next week who will be hungry but will be sadly disappointed. The Colts and Texans game was a nail-biter. It was so close at times I think I held my breath. The first half was dominated by the Texans, it looked like they were going to upset the Colts. Halftime proved to be their downfall this time. Either the Colts ate their Wheaties or the Texans decided to go on vacation, the ball was turned over three times and they were flat out outplayed.

New England and New Orleans certainly put on a good show. While NE got stomped on, the game was none the less interesting. Of course this helps N.O. get home field advantage which is not good for the Vikes but none the less I think we all knew they were going to win. Denver pounded the Giants in a surprising upset. I didn’t get to watch the game but I saw highlights…. Just not sure what happened there.
We move to Week 13 and closer to playoff’s….. picks coming soon.
